Melt and Pour soap (M&P or MP) soap is glycerine based soap. It can be purchased as transparent soap or it is available with different skin conditioning additives like shea butter or goats milk.

To make a bar of MP soap you simply buy the premade soap base, melt it and pour it into a mold.  It's easy to be quite creative using MP soap base and can be great supervised fun with children.
